To lighten the mood and distract us from current state of our basketball program, why don't we focus on football recruiting!!

We are off to what could easily be our best recruiting class ever. Last year we finished the season with the 32nd ranked class according to rivals, and right now we are currently sitting at 30th. And we haven't even gotten in to the meat of our recruiting yet, with some pretty big prospects still in play.
I think we could sign our best Running Back class ever, at least on paper, we are currently ranked 18th in the country in that category. John White and Jarrell Oliver are both very similar runners, small, quick, shifty speed guys who have a lot of lower body power and are downhill runners. We still also have two 4 star recruits in Harvey Langi and Brendon Bigelow that are showing interest.
Depending on who you talk to Langi is anywhere from already quietly committing to Utah, just waiting to officially announce at the Army All-American game to being lured away by USC. Ultimately I think the truth lies in the middle and he is very close to committing to Utah, I would say our chances are about 70-30 on him.
Bigelow is probably the most talented Running Back recruit we are looking at. If it wasn't for injuries he would be a legit 5 star/Blue Chip recruit. Apparently Cal is looking very hard at him and they seem to think he is going to commit there, however as of right now he still has a visit scheduled for next weekend. One of his focuses when looking for a school is the family atmosphere within the locker room. If we can get him on a visit at the U, then I like our chances to land him.
We could also see some pretty big WR recruits take visits pretty quick here, and there are some major athletes still on the board that have expressed interest. This could be one of the best classes we have ever had.
