If I were in charge of taxes

I would make a constitutional amendment required any tax rate increases to be decided by the public (I know this means they would never get increased; hence why I would do it). As part of the law the only way you could vote for a higher tax rate for those richer than you is if you agreed to pay the same tax rate yourself.
I'm 90% serious.
It's criminal how politicians play class warfare and the electorate goes all self righteous and tries to dictate how other people should be spending their money.
To me there is no difference between the holier than thou attitudes of the zoobs and the holier than thou attitudes of those demanding the rich pay more in taxes.
They both suck.
