Joe Lunardi currently predicts that the ACC will only get 4 teams into the tourney. Interesting to see that a conference that hangs its hat on hoops may only get as many bids as the MWC. Although the Pac-12 is also having a down year, it is apparent that the Pac-12 has been more focused on football.

And speaking of the MWC, it puts a smile on my face to see that they might get 4 bids. I will still be cheering for MWC teams to do well in the tourney - some habits will never die. Even though some of the MWC teams may not be "underdogs" in terms of seeding, I believe that any non-BCS school is perpetually an underdog because of the financial disparity.
