RE: The Wire is the best show in the history of TV. Best show still airing is Breaking Bad.

These are two, along with the Sopranos, are my favorites - not sure what order I would stack them in (different seasons of one are better than certain seasons of the other and vice versa), but they are all excellent.

480ute icon NEW: Is South Park in its prime anymore? Probably not, but that shouldn't exclude it from any list. The last two episodes of Seinfeld were God-awful, but the show as a whole was awesome. (nm)

o NEW: They are good they have way too many high and lows. Also you mention Seinfeld as a a great TV show what makes it great? Watchability. You can still laugh at a Simpsons or Seinfeld episode to this day.
