Does she expect you to remember hers? Where is she in the birth order of her siblings?

If she's anything like me, a middle kid, she doesn't remember anyone's largely because she didn't grow up thinking hers is a big deal.

NEW: must be a scientist thing, i'm also very lousy with dates and have to have constant reminds via my iphone, outlook calendar, post it notes, etc.

NEW: I would never let my wife forget my birthday. I remind her in advance so she has time to plan. If she forgot in the morning I would remind her early so I don't waste time getting to enjoy my birthday. (nm)
