I don't understand why Boise doesn't cut the dead weight here and start its own conference:

Boise, SDSU, BYU then pick frive from Fresno, Nevada, UNLV, Hawaii, CSU, AFA, UNM, SJSU

That would be 8 teams, and ESPN would happily give that conference the deal they have currently with BYU to fill in some late time slots. They would be free of the Mtn and Thompson, and they would have a higher rated conference with less baggage.

NEW: SDSU is probably in regardless, BYU or another school to go to 12. Rumors of them pursuing Tulsa and not BYU is interesting but not credible IMO (nm)
