MLB - Baltimore Orioles NFL - Washington Redskins (DISCLAIMER - not a diehard, just sort of adopted them as a kid for reasons I don't even remember anymore; still prefer them above all others, though) NHL - no favorite, but enjoy the playoffs MLS - sorry, I just couldn't care less about soccer. I don't disapprove of Real or the league or anything - if they can succeed without draining the tax coffers, cool. But I don't see myself buying a ticket to watch them play. My Favorite Victories: -2005 Fiesta Bowl, 2009 Sugar Bowl, 13-10 over TCU in '08 -'98 Final Four run -Any Ute victory over BYU (especially 34-31 parts I & II, '03 thru '05 FB, 57-28 in '88 FB, win in '91 BB where Josh Grant posterized Bradley, '03 BB and the end of the Marriott Center win streak) -'94 FB vs. CSU -'97 BB vs. New Mexico in the WAC tourney -any win that clinched yet another conference title -any postseason win My Favorite Players: -Keith Van Horn -Andre Miller -Ben Caton (a hard nosed, forgotten player on some great teams that for some reason I just loved to watch) -Alex Smith -Morgan Scalley -Luther Elliss -Byron Wilson -Walter Watts (see: Ben Caton) -Alex Jensen Message: Harvard of the west, indeed.
